SEJARAH THE STROKES
di anggotai 5 pemuda genius iaitu Julian Casablancas,Albert Hammond Jr,Nick Valensi,Nikolai Fraiture & Fabrizio Moretti.pada awal nya Julian mengenali Fraiture sejak kecil lagi.bila dah masuk ke sekolah tinggi sangkut pulak dengan mamat hensem 2 orang nih,Fab & Nick mencipta click yang ngam,masa ni belom ada bau2 untuk memulakan sebuah band.nak di jadikan cerita Julian jumpa Albert di swiss,start dari sini lah bermula nya era The Strokes.mula berjamming pada tahun 1998 dalam sebuah bilik bawah tanah yang berselerak di kota New York,dimana Fab dibahagian Drummer,Nick & Albert menggalas tugas di posisi gitar,manakala Fraiture mendominasi sound bass membentuk suasana hype untuk The Strokes,dengan kombinasi vokal kemalas-malasan unik Julian yang sememang nya kena dengan sound yang di hasil kan,menambah selera jenama yang di panggil The Strokes. masa nih dorang masih muda remaja lagi dalam lingkungan 16-18 tahun.setahun selepas tu dalam bulan september mereka membuat gig pertama menggunakan nama The Strokes.
